The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program was established to promote economic and employment development in Quebec by attracting people with capital, business establishment and solid managerial skills.

To qualify under the QIIP the candidate must meet the following conditions:

• Hold a minimum of CAD 2.0 million in total net assets obtained legally between himself and his spouse.
• The Applicant must hold a minimum of two years management experience in a legal business (agricultural, industrial or commercial), in government or an international organization within the last five years preceding the application for a selection certificate of selection or hold experience in a legal professional business where the staff, excluding the candidate, occupies at least the equivalent of two full-time jobs.
• Sign an investment agreement with an approved financial intermediary (broker or trust company) authorized to participate in the Investor Program
• The Applicant must be ready to invest CAD 1,200,000.00 free of interest for five years after which time the full amount will be refunded.
